Cirque de Ballet
Images that are real life and show lots of personality are my favorite kinds of images. Working up close with each person and giving them a vision of what I want to capture is extremely rewarding when the results are sick like these images.
THE NAME MAYHEM WAS CHOSEN NOT FOR ITS ORIGINAL MEANING, BUT MORE FOR THE EVERY DAY COMMON USAGE OF THE WORD. MAYHEM MEANING- CHAOS, SCATTERED OR OUT OF CONTROL. I LIKE THE WORD CAUSE IT CONVEYS EXACTLY HOW I WOULD LIKE MY WORK TO BE SEEN. MY STYLE IS VERY CONTROLLED AS FAR AS TECHNICAL ASPECTS ARE CONCERNED BUT MY VISION AND MY IDEAS THAT COME TO ME VERY OFTEN ARE MAYHEM AND EDGY AND WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE A BAD ASS IMAGE. PARDON THE EXPRESSION. IMAGES TO ME SHOULDN'T JUST BE COOKIE CUTTER PRETTY, THEY SHOULD DRAW AN EMOTION THEY SHOULD SPEAK ABOUT THE PERSON BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. ANY PRETTY PERSON CAN SIT IN FRONT OF A LENS AND ANY PHOTOGRAPHER WHO HAS HIS LENS CAP OFF CAN SHOOT THAT PERSON AND GET OK IMAGES. THE SICK STUFF HAPPENS WHEN A PHOTOGRAPH COMES ALIVE AND SHOUTS LOUD!
